My work explores perfectionism and the ways we edit ourselves to present an idealized version of who we are.
I'm interested in how these edits can obscure the parts of ourselves that make us who we are, and how the
pursuit of perfection can sometimes become limiting. I'm exploring these ideas through photo transfers, collage,
acrylic, and oil paint, experimenting with the relationship between realism and abstraction. I'm drawn to color,
shape, and composition, and I'm interested in how images can be altered, layered, or obscured while still retaining
something recognizable.
